Located in the heart of Morris County NJ, just 30 miles west of New York City, the three towns of Boonton, Boonton Township and Mountain Lakes comprise an active, bucolic community that boasts small-town charm, stately architecture, great schools, excellent professional services, and convenient access to all major highways and transportation.

The open spaces, beautiful parks, and many lakes and trails in the community provide the perfect environment for active family living.  Tucked around the farms and homes are quaint shopping areas with a rich history dating back to the Revolutionary War.  Many successful businesses call the Tri-Towns their home, including banks, architects, artists, restaurants, financial institutions, professional services, home builders, and health and fitness service providers.

An active Chamber of Commerce provides networking opportunities among shop owners and professionals that inspire success.  The Chamber strengthens and energizes the relationship between business and the community.

...Without the local businesses that employ and cater to our residents, our lifestyles would be greatly diminished.  The business community needs you, the consumer, to frequent and utilize these goods and services.  Without your assistance as a consumer, client, patron, the business community would cease to exist.

Howard Solomon, Chamber President

Our 2010 scholarship program, that is only funded by the annual Golf Outing, has allocated two $500.00 business scholarships AND we have added another academic scholarship.

This year the Chamber will present two $1,000 academic scholarships and two $500 business awards.

Applications for these four grants will be mailed out in the early Spring.

Chamber Helps Decorate Main Street

We hope that you all enjoyed the Christmas Decorations that were exhibited in Boonton. The Chamber contributed $750.00 this year to add lights to the wreaths on the lamp posts along Main Street. This purchase in addition to the Victorian displays that the Chamber donated to Main Street two years ago, enhanced the town’s festive theme. A big thank you to Jim Lynch for allowing the Chamber to display our lighted Christmas tree on his property at the corner of Powerville and West Main.

Neighbor News Directory

The Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce 2010 Directory has been published and distributed throughout the three communities. A special thank you to Mike Gutowitz (T V Head Productions), for his design of the Directory cover. He truly captured the essence of the Chamber message.

Chamber Supports First Aid Squad

On Friday December 18th, the Executive Board presented the Boonton Kiwanis with a check for $2,000.00. As voted by the Board of Directors, a donation to the Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad emphasized our support for this organization and recognizes their importance of service to our area.
