What the Tri-Town Area Has to Offer
Great Business Mix
According to Entrepreneur magazine, many experts agree that by locating your business in close proximity to other businesses with similar customers to yours, you can benefit from their marketing efforts. "Your fellow business owners chose their locations based on the ideal demographics of a particular area, and in many cases, they've also devoted large portions of their advertising budget toward driving traffic to their locations."
Retail
There are over 160 retail shops and professionals in the short stretch of Boonton Main Street. On street parking and several adjacent lots make it convenient for customers. The shops range from small clothing boutiques, hardware stores and art galleries, to large retail establishments.
Service
Many service professionals have settled in the Tri-Town area. There are office parks and smaller commercial spaces spread throughout the area on the main streets and boulevards. The area has financial planners, real estate agents, attorneys, architects, mortgage brokers, and graphic designers just to name a few. For a full list, visit our business directory.
Health & Fitness
The tri-towns are known for their outdoor activities and there are many consumers who take advantage of businesses that help them remain healthy and fit.
Convenient Location
The tri-town area is easily accessible from just about anywhere. With several exits off two major highways, Interstate 287 and Interstate 80, the towns of Boonton, Boonton Township and Mountain Lakes are a forty minute drive from Manhattan, thirty minutes from Newark Airport, and only twenty minutes from Rockland County, New York.
For commuters and visitors, there are two convenient train stations within the tri-towns and several in adjacent towns including Denville, Montville, and Wayne. The Lakeland Bus Line, which some travellers favor, follows a route up and down the Boulevard in Mountain Lakes, loops around through Boonton, and travels to the Port Authority in Manhattan.
Demographics
The population is highly educated with most working people employed in the business professional, education, finance and heath services industries. Click here for more information about demographics, or visit the US Census Bureau website.
