The tri-towns are known for the recreational opportunities available to residents and visitors alike, for the quaint downtown shopping area of Historic Boonton Main Street, for the wide-open spaces of bucolic Boonton Township, and the gorgeous architecture of historic Mountain Lakes.

Many artists have settled on Boonton Main Street and the surrounding area, and celebrating these local artists is done frequently. There are hundreds of retail shops and professionals in the tri-towns.  The restaurants and cafes vary from a ‘sit and chat’ relaxing atmosphere to dining at charming restaurants with impressive wine lists.

The tri-towns were originally called “Lakeland” named for their many recreational lakes.  Residents enjoy swimming, sailing, fishing and pond hockey on the lakes, and hiking and biking on the many trails surrounding them.  Opportunities to get fit and healthy abound.  Learn more.

As a result of the intertwined community of three towns, there are a multitude of resources accessible to the residents including several libraries, private and public schools, newspapers and even radio stations.

The community has a rich history evidenced by its beautiful historic homes.  Whether a resident is shopping for a new home, moving to another home, renovating their existing home, or just looking to make some improvements in their current home, these needs can all be met.

All in all, the tri-towns are a great place to live, work and play. We know you will enjoy your stay in the Tri-Towns.  WELCOME!!
