Shopping & Dining
The quaint downtown shopping area of Historic Boonton Main Street is the highlight of the shopping offered in the tri-towns. There are over 160 retail shops and professionals in the short stretch of Boonton Main Street. On street parking and several adjacent lots allow you to stroll down the street and enjoy a cup of coffee from the local coffee shop while browsing through the retail and specialty shops and businesses.
All of these shops together can meet most people’s desires. A resident can run into a convenience or hardware store for the run of the mill item, but still get special one on one attention since the salesperson is most likely the owner of the shop. Anyone shopping, whether resident or tourist, may want a new stylish outfit, which can most certainly be found in one of the high end fashion boutiques, offering competitive pricing, and fabulous customer service. For those who like one-stop shopping, Wal-Mart is less than a mile from downtown in a nice strip mall with other shops and convenience restaurants.

Their masterpieces are not only shown at community galleries, but also displayed in the local shops, along with functions at the clubs. If you’re not already a celebrated artist, learn how to paint, draw, or photograph at one of the art schools. As technology has emerged within creative services, another type of art has grown here in the tri-towns.
